• I want to tell off family members that are so selfish they can't listen to you talk about anything for more than 5 minutes without making a comment about themselves.

• Kids are stupid.

• I get angry about the lot I have been handed in life.

• I think I like frozen yogurt too much.

Every day...

I am thankful and humbled that I have a loving husband who treats me like a queen and is my biggest inspiration in everything I do. Love you baby!

Recently I have had a bunch of friends complain on Facebook about Ladies' Room bad habits. Their chief complaint? That the person before them sprinkled on the potty. I have several thoughts on this. First of all, I am not a big fan of wiping off the toilet seat because I want to touch as little as possible in a public bathroom. Secondly, I personally like to use the little seat covers and just plop by booty down (which I will not do if the seat is already wet). So I can see the reasoning behind their complaint but am not willing to remedy the situation. But here's another thought, what if the seat is wet not from the #1 act but from a violently flushing machine? I once got my entire backside doused from an overzealous pot. It's true; I was there. I guess the bottom line is there should be no complaining. At least you have a place to go and are not hanging your rear end out the side of a car at a rest area in the mountains of Tennessee because your bladder is about to explode but you can't find a bathroom in the middle of a blizzard. That happened to a "friend" of mine. Be grateful for the porcelain potty and be gone. If you feel the need to clean, go for it.

I will leave you with a quote from a poem that used to hang on my Great Grandmother's bathroom wall:

"If you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seatie."

Happy Sunday!

Have you ever noticed that Sunday afternoons are very sleepy? It is so hard to hold open your eyes. I took advantage of a warm room and a comfy couch this afternoon and grabbed a few extra winks of sleep.

Are you a napper? Where is your favorite place to sleep? Do you enjoy a cuddle buddy? Furry or otherwise? Do you like a blanket, a fan, a warm glass of milk?

I love naps, mostly on Sundays. I think it's God's little gift for a week well done.

Hello? Is this thing on?

I realized today that I am a total hypocrite when it comes to blogging. I LOVE to read other people's thoughts and confessions while hiding in the internet shadows. I dipped my toe in posting several times but have never made a commitment to it. So, if there is anyone listening, I am now making a vow to blog at least once a week. That's a good start to my new found love of blogging.

I'm not going to count today. I'll post something more newsworthy later this week. But for now enjoy this pleasant picture of my cute nephew.
